In Africa, an alarming number of children drop out from basic education because of poverty. They are encouraged to work rather than learn because parents cannot afford to send their children to school and support their family at the same time.
Young girls are often left behind when it comes to education, while sons are encouraged to attend school. Support our project in child protection, quality education for all children, and sanitation. This will decrease child labor, trafficking of children, and help reduce child mortality.

Foundation Brightens the Future of Many Children
The Lighten a Childs Future Foundation Inc. was founded by Anthony Abbuah out of a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of needy children in Africa.
Take Action
The Lighten a Childs Future Foundation Inc. has acquired land near Kasoa New Town, Ghana, for a new school. The new school, which we are in process of building, will help us better accommodate our current enrollment of 160 students and more. We also have a waiting list and hope to educate even more children as our donations grow.
We need your donations to finish this project. Your donation will help us:
- Accept more children in need
- Buy equipment such as buses to transport the children to the new school
- Buy supplies such as computers, books, and school bags
- Help finish building the school
